ENOA Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging ENOA serves as a gateway to aging services that already exist in the community and also operates its own programs that fill previously unmet needs in the five-county area. Radio Talking Books The mission of Radio Talking Book Services, Inc. is to provide information and cultural opportunities to individuals who have visual or physical disabilities which prevent them from reading printed material or from enjoying community events and activities. Rebuilding Together Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit with a network of nearly 225 affiliates across the United States. Our mission is to preserve affordable housing by bringing volunteers and communities together to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners. Respite Resource Center Serves as a one-stop location for information on respite for caregivers, providers, employers and citizens. Connects caregivers overwhelmed with the demands of the daily care of an individual with information about the appropriate respite services in Douglas & Sarpy Counties. Provides information for respite providers who wish to be registered and offer services, either paid or volunteer. Does not make recommendations regarding services, but provides this information to the caregiver to make the final decision. Presbyterian Outreach Non-profit organization that provides health supportive services to assist individuals attain a greater level of independence. Services offered address community needs focusing on the frail, elderly, disabled and at-risk youth. Southwest 8 Senior Services is part of a national network of over 650 area agencies on aging. We are governed by the Older Americans Act. The nationwide network is there to work with seniors and their families in finding services that will allow them to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible. Southwest 8 is one of 13 area agencies on aging serving Iowa.
